The new vouchers will help to cover the cost of installing gigabit capable connections to eligible, rural homes and businesses across the UK when part of a community project and with broadband speeds less than 100Mbps.
- Businesses can claim up to £3,500
- Residents can claim up to £1,500

What is a Gigabit capable connection?
1Gb = 1,000Mbps
A Gigabit capable connection will provide full fibre (FTTP) optic cable directly to the premise. Full fibre networks are future proof and can deliver the connection speeds we need - not only for today, but also for the future.
How Does the Scheme Work?
Only eligible businesses or residents as part of a community project can access the Gigabit Broadband Voucher Scheme through a registered supplier.
