What is the Digital Infrastructure Partnership?

In early 2020, the programme finalised a formal Digital Infrastructure Partnership comprising of Oxfordshire County Council, all district councils including Cherwell, West Oxfordshire, South Oxfordshire, Vale of White Horse and Oxford City Council as well as OxLEP.

In addition to forming the Partnership, all parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding agreement. The aim of this agreement is to facilitate the rollout of Digital Infrastructure by commercial operators by providing access to public sector assets and public highways land, whilst streamlining the wayleave and planning application processes.
