What is Full Fibre?

Full Fibre is the next generation of Broadband. It connects premises directly to the exchange using fibre optic cables, making a more reliable connection with Gigabit capable speeds.

Future proofing premises

Whilst there i likely to be some disruption whilst suppliers roll out Full Fibre over the years to come. By installing this form of connectivity now, this will future-proof homes and businesses across Oxfordshire. Once Full Fibre has been installed, suppliers will be able to improve speed upgrades in the future with minimal need to install new cables and disruption will remain minimal for years to come.

  • Dropouts are less likely to occur and staying connected to friends and family is possible anytime, anywhere

How much does it cost?

For the benefits, you’d usually expect a big jump in price but full fibre broadband doesn’t actually cost a whole lot more.

Before upgrading it is always best to check what Full Fibre packages your current Internet Service Provider (ISP) provides and what the terms are for ending your service before the current contract ends if you need to change providers, as this may incur early termination fees.
