Oxfordshire’s Digital Infrastructure Programme team is playing a leading role in the newly formed Local Authority Connectivity Group, set up by the Small Cell Forum, an influential trade body that works with Governments and telecoms industries around the world. This new group brings local authorities and industry together to capture UK public sector needs and accelerate the roll-out of better digital connectivity in cities and towns using small cells. Oxfordshire County Council is one of just three local authorities to be invited to join so far, underlining our commitment to collaboration, innovation and improved connectivity for our communities.
